Trinidad Coloniales Review:
Last year we had the chance of tasting the new Trinidad Colonials. This petit Corona is finished with a "perilla", excelent quality, taste and aroma. Great smoke with subtleness and complexity for real connoseurs. Would benefit of maturing for another two-three months.

Review #27: A very nice cigar, finely crafted, evident with its smooth even burn. Complex tastes of cedar wood, cinnamon, chocolate, deep forest tastes. It doesnt leave the harsh feeling on the throat, most cubans do. A finely crafted cigar with an acceptable price (9 Euros in Greece) - Submitted by Dimitris in Athens - Greece on November 27, 2005
Review #26: 24-Box... So used to 25 - Submitted by Yapi on November 1, 2005
Review #25: Very happy with the purchases my girlfriend made in Spain... second one from a 25-box smoking right now, after one month in the humi already a fantastic smoke! Don't laugh at me, usually prefer cigars with aged port, now drinking a cup of hot cacao milk, fantastic cream experience with this fine piece of art! This cigar is the best thing I have in my humi right now considering price (€5,50 in spain)/ quality... Planned already a 24h Ryanair trip to Barcelona next month, cost and stay total of €80,00, to buy me another 8 boxes of fine habanos, sure this one will be in my luggage again! Will visit the 'bermuda-triangel' of cigarshops in Barcelona, with Casa Pastor, Casa Gimeno and l'Estancio Laietana all in walking distance of the placa Cataluna! Cigar smoking is becoming an amazing but expensive passion to me... but who said you couldn't buy happiness? I'm buying it in boxes :-) - Submitted by Yapi on October 31, 2005
Review #24: A very complex cigar, various different tastes and flavours apparent at different points, ranging from being sweet with notes of honey, cinnamon, and chocolate as well. A nice very smooth cigar with an even and slow burn, I also liked that it didn't leave that feeling in your throat when your smoking like some cigars that are a little harsh do, such as Monte's. Very pleasant, however I don't feel like going out and spending $35 CDN a stick on these frequently, more of a treat I would say :) - Submitted by cdnpilot on October 16, 2005
Review #23: I\'ve tested one out and payed € 11,00 for this stick in Belgium... found it an extremely good looking cigar with a nice un-lit aroma, when lit found it very subtle with cream, leather and coffee notes that really suited me perfect, great cigar only one remark: the price is just too high for my liking!!!! I know the El Laguito factory takes special care of the Cohiba\'s and Trinidads by giving them the world famous third fermentation, what explains the premium price... maybe for that kind of money I just expected too much... eventually, for the same price I can almost buy a Lusitania in Belgium... However, after reading the previous reviews on the coloniales you find that some people don\'t mind the price tag (lucky you!) and others find them a bargain (indeed, € 7 is a bargain!). But for me the most fantastic thing was that , when I compared the new fixed prices (04/2005) of the Spanisch \'estancos\' (those are the Spanisch tabacco shops that are selling genuine cubans under government regulation) with Northern European prices, it cuts the cost of a coloniales exactly IN HALF!!! I thought I was dreaming, because as a matter of fact my girfriend is leaving for Spain in a couple of days!!!! Although it is commonly known that cigar prices in Spain are a lot lower than anywhere else in Europe - exeption made for the European cigar heaven Andorra - it hardly ever reaches 50% off compared to Belgian prices... exept for these coloniales, who are sold in Spain for an asskicking € 5,50 a piece, and than you\'ll have your 5-star cigar!!!!!! For the record, if you surch the web you\'ll find that some Spanisch retailers are prepared to send you a box of 24 for approximatly € 140,00... as a kind of stuntprice to get you hooked at their services. There\'s even more: in Spain the fundadores costs € 10,80 a piece, and the robusto extra € 11,10 ( In Belgium it\'s 18 and 20 euros). Consequence: when my girlfriend returns from Spain Trini-Daddy is going to give her a smoking night!!!!!!!!!!!!
PS. you can find other bargains in Spain like the Sir Winston for € 10,80 a piece or the Partagas shorts for € 3,00 a piece, R&J Cedros de luxe n°3 for € 3,75 and so on... If I made a mistake concerning prices in my review, please correct me! It\'s not my goal to spread incorrect information on this site. Speaking of, isn\'t the lenght of the Coloniales 132mm? - Submitted by Yapi on August 12, 2005
