Los Statos de Luxe Selectos Review:
This cigar can be considered milder than Cremas or Delirios, but the taste is all the same. The minimum ageing recommended for this cigar is at least 3 years. Strength 2/5

Review #4: I found a box of the Los Statos de Luxe Selectos dating sep 00... What a surprise, a pleasant surprise! I am always looking for a good everyday cigar and this is exactly what I found... just wish they were still made! If lucky enough to find a box, pick it up and enjoy. - Submitted by pshamrock on January 5, 2008
Review #3: Enjoyed one of these the other day.
The Selectos was handmade until about 1980 and discontinued in 2002. The brand was discontinued in 2005/06.
This turned out to be a very delightful smoke. Classic Cuban flavour, though not a lot of changes, which I figure may be due to it being an aged stick. I expected some harshness, but this didn't encounter any until the very end of the smoke. Nice bit of wood (cedar) on the palatte throughout. Certainly worth the $7 I paid. - Submitted by Jeff Bower on November 3, 2007
Review #2: When I visited my favorite cigar store in Geneva I was in the mood for trying something new... I found these and bought a box. Boxcode CBOUSA (CB=Carlos Balino, 08-1996)
A very enjoyable cigar! It sure looks good (nice wrappers) en while it is certainly mild, it is definitely not bland. Tons of smoke with classic Cuban taste... Not an easy smoke to find but if you can get your hands on these... grab a box! - Submitted by Eduard on October 24, 2007
