Sancho Panza Sanchos Review:

We could think we are going to find a strong cigar when we first see this 235mm Gran Corona. Despite this fact, this stick is mild, with medium tobacco taste, sweet, aromatic, with chocolate, pepper and spicy notes perfectly balanced. Be sure you have enough time for this smoke, as if you heat it up, you may spoil its delicate combination of flavours.

Review #22: Extremely vegetal start. Hints of celery, parsley, and cilantro. Very different to start with, however, the vegetal flavours soon give way to woody flavours where the cigar seems to take on an identity. The flavours are very different for Sancho Panza, and very different from a lot of other Cubans I've smoked. A very mild cigar with mild-medium flavours. I enjoyed the finish much more than the start. The cigar did grow in strength to the end. The draw was a little tight to begin with but became more acceptable by the mid-mark. I'm not sure that I'd recommend this cigar preferring instead to recommend the much better Montecristo A for this size of cigar. A very average smoke for a cigar that should provide so much more. - Submitted by cookj1 on April 6, 2009

Review #21: This was the second cigar from a box of 5 i bought some months ago. This cigar lacks character. Earthy taste with hints of grass throughout. The taste doesn't change much as you work your way to the last quarter (2 hours after lighting). Usually i smoke my cigars to the last centimeter but in this case I thought it would be better to part with my cigar earier than usual. Not a fantastic cigar in my books, even after 8 months of aging in my humidor. I will keep the other 3 for a few more years before lighting up and will post my review again. - Submitted by Skittles740 on March 1, 2009

Review #20: My first review on this site...that classic "Long time listener - first time caller" line fits in this instance. Anyway, this has always been my favorite cigar, despite its increasing absence in my local tobacconists. Had my first one since I moved from Canada's East coast to West Coast last year. Just under 2 hours to smoke, excellent draw and the most even burn in a cigar I've had in months. A grassy, faintly woody tone throughout that I quite enjoyed. Floral notes in the opening few puffs, which re-emerged near the finale. In the middle third, notes of cocoa and bean, and the woody taste became more defined. A great finish, without overpowering me, I smoked it right down to the nub, didn't want it to end! Can't wait to order a box of these classy sticks. - Submitted by Chanceschmerr on February 23, 2009

Review #19: Have to say an average cigar, but well worth a smoke. Good taste and will always get attention when lighting this 235mm cigar. - Submitted by muzza on January 29, 2009

Review #18: A great cigar but have to allow approx 2 hours to smoke. Somewhat smooth but more to the point it is an easy draw. When pulling this cigar out at a social event; it will always drawa crowd, due to its 235mm size. A must have, but will need some time in a humidor to really bring out the flavours. - Submitted by muzza on January 25, 2009
