Review #23: APR 08 Interesting cigar. The most outstanding particular is the very noticeable salty taste covering the back of the mouth. Overall a mild smoke, woody on both flavour and aroma, it stays mild and subtle throughout all the smoke, intensifying the salty notes at the end. You really need to concentrate while smoking, otherwise it will just feel bland. Some sticks had a tight draw. - Submitted by titobueno76 on May 30, 2012

Review #22: SEP 08 Just tried these for the first time - first impressions are that these are a cigar with real personality. Many of the usual cuban flavours on show, earth, coffee, cream, spice but with a sharper, more savoury tang. Its such a shame that the stick I tried was very tightly rolled and required some effort to get a decent draw. That being said the flavours were wonderful so it deserves a good score. I have another sitting in my humi that seems a little looser so hopefully might be even better than this one. - Submitted by FitzNugly on November 20, 2011

Review #21: AUG 04 First Sancho Panza and in my favourite format. One of a selection of aged variants I picked up from a local reputable merchant. It had a Colorado Maduro wrapper with an even film of white atesting to its age. Well filled and smooth wrapper. Must have been the pick of the box as the ring gauge is noticeably bigger than it should be and it had an almost flawless contruction. A drier style and the body and strength are the milder side of medium. The smoke was creamy and in copious amounts. In general, flavours of earth and leather intermingling with toasty, tobacco flavours. Some herbal and cedar-like aromas at the start which quickly disappear when the leather and earth dominate until the end. No tarry flavours right down to the last inch. Barely perceptible spice at the start building up to just a touch that lingers. Finish was a little short with a slight saltiness. The draw was excellent with just a little resistance but burnt a little sideways in the second third. Lasted a whole one hour. Points for construction and age but there is some more work to be done on the flavours and finish which became a little dull towards the end. Not bad, just not brilliant. - Submitted by sengjc on March 6, 2010

Review #20: These sticks taste of the old Cuban traditions. I was very pleased with the beginning of this cigar and the way it kept my attention. I enjoy the whole experience of this smoke. - Submitted by pshamrock on March 1, 2009

- Submitted by cipu on February 20, 2009
