Review #22: Green, cedary and too one dimensional for me. Perhaps that is too harsh, but all cigars are competing against some real stong competition, and if they can't bring something unique to the fray, they become a one-time smoke. As this one was. For me, the overly earthy, woody taste was all this cigar offered, with a mild kick and no complexity. Not for me. - Submitted by MikePomery on October 13, 2006

Review #21: After aging these cigars in my humidor, I fired one up. The flavor of this cigar has the hallmark of the San Cristobal line. The draw was very tight. Medium bodied with a distinct tobacco taste with a creamy hint of vanilla. I would have enjoyed it more if I didn't have to work so hard to get a good draw. Overall a good cigar but I'm hesitant to buy more given the draw problems. - Submitted by Kathleen on May 9, 2006

Review #20: The La Punta is the best kept secret in the Cuban cigar world. Rich, full bodied and full of flavor it's my daily cgar of choice. Lasts about an hour with a strong finish, it's sure to satisfy any Cuban cigar lover. - Submitted by jlcccm on March 21, 2006

Review #19: This has been a stand by cigar in my humidor for years. Any time I want a reliable smoke I go for a San Cristobal, La Punta. The burn has always been consistant, the aroma and flavor exceptional and while the taste may not be as complex as perhaps the Monticristo #2 it is and will remain a favorite. - Submitted by tomvon on February 20, 2006

Review #18: This is easily the most pleasant of all of the piramides or campanas that Habanos SA markets. With its excellent construction and rich, sweet flavors this is a great cigar. I am on my fifth box and I am sure that there are many more in my future. If you do not like the La Punta then you most likely don\'t like cigars! - Submitted by Monkeyboy on May 12, 2005
