San Cristobal de la H. La Punta Review:
Not much to say about this one apart from that it is an Exclusive Piramide that allows you to enjoy the best qualities from San Cristobal. Their selected leaves give this Habano a good personality.

Review #39: Smoked one from '01 last night. I don't know why I don't smoke these more often because invariably, every SCB I light I enjoy the heck out of! The little El-Principe is a must-have and the Mercederes are pure Heaven these days. This La Punta was as good as it gets in a Havana. No spice but if you enjoy the woody/coffee flavors in a cigar you'll need to look no further. SUUUUUUUPERB! - Submitted by Shooter on May 4, 2008
Review #38: This is a rough looking cigar, with nice coco color. It started a bit stong
but mellowed and had great draw with good strong flavors, of dark chocolate,
wood and spice. This cigar got better and better as it smoked. I did
notice a hint of youngness in the flavor but was very pleased with this
cigar. There is such a difference from cubans to non cubans. The
cuban cigars have such charactor and flavor profile they slowly build with different tastes as you go along. It's hard to explain, but the non cubano cigars may have a good draw and construction but the
flavors are always the same from start to finish (Boring unless you pay top
dollar for OpusX or Zino) Cubans are always so delightful and consistent. I appreciate them so much more because where I am from (US) they are not easy to come by so we really savor each
one and remember every detail. I only have 2 more of these SC's but
will try my best to age them well. - Submitted by nnjlon2 on April 18, 2008
Review #37: This is a fantastic smoke...you CANNOT go wrong with it....it's rich and sweet....I would say it is rougher/harsher than the San Cristobal La Fuerza....but....it's just great....you must try it...
Not as smooth and rich as a Bolivar Belicoso Fino (same vitola), and not as amazing as a Partagas Serie P No. 2, or a Montecristo No.2, but it is the same vibe....if you love those, you'll love this...
Definitely include this in your collections....superb... - Submitted by hellion5 on January 28, 2008
Review #36: I just finished smoking a La Punta, it was good, no where near the flavor of a Bolivar Belicoso Fino, H. Upmann #2, or a Dimplomatico #2. It did burn even and slow, but the taste was just light and woody. I agree with #32 "good, but nothing special." The Juan Lopez Seleccion #2 I smoked earlier was much better, in all areas. - Submitted by nottiman on December 10, 2007
Review #35: I LOVE this cigar date jul 2001. It burned very even with tastes of wood coffee, and was very peppery. I recomend smoking it with 23 year old Zacapa Rum. HEAVENLY! - Submitted by LOMNHERNANDEZ on December 6, 2007
