Review #22: OK, just smoked a second SLR from my June 2005 box and, again, WHAT A DRAW. Nice, dense taste throughout, though the middle third seems the most tasty. - Submitted by carld on October 6, 2006

Review #21: Just got a new box of June 2005 vintage and smoked the first one last night. Very nice tasting, though more subtle than some SLRs I've enjoyed in the past. Still giving a high rating though, as the draw is just so smooth and easy by Cuban standards. - Submitted by carld on October 5, 2006

Review #20: This is a very good cigar. Tightly rolled, evenly constructed. Lights easily and burns smoothly. The tastes are complex, well aged and strike you from the first puffs. Tastes of coffe, espresso start the exquisite trip to the Cuban tastes, followed by a mellow, sweet taste of warm Swiss chocolate that makes the mouth salivate. The final third reveals the allclassic Saint Lui Rey dark honey and sweet caramel taste, with subtle notes of freshly ground green pepper. A magnificent smoke. - Submitted by Dimitris in Athens - Greece on August 9, 2006

Review #19: This was excellent.not strong, but a good Cuban taste all around. If this is representative of the brand, then SLR is so underrated. - Submitted by afuentelover on July 30, 2006

Review #18: I smoked the second one of those this week and it is a very good cigar. Tasty and light and very consistent. Not spicy, not peppery, just tasty . If was just a little stronger it would be a perfect cigar. Try it - Submitted by beaver on June 6, 2006
