Review #9: I purchased one of these with great anticipation in Nurnberg, Germany. It was from a box vintage 2000. The wrapper was smooth, if looking a little rugged. I was excited, but I think I had some bad luck. Because, it was as if I had walked in on a beautiful women in the middle of dressing when she isn't ready to be seen. Or opening a birthday present the day before your birthday and knowing you did something wrong. What I mean is this has all the potential, but even at year 2000, at least from the box I was smoking it wasn't ready. The smoke was rough, (compared to a Partagas lonsdale I smoked immediately after, from 2000 as well)and the flavors were bunched together like it thought it was still fresh from the field. But this cigar has potential. It is rustic and unique, and I could still taste what will come. Something nutty, volcanic and sweet. It just wasn't there yet. - Submitted by Jimbo on March 12, 2007

Review #8: I was lucky enough to get a good amount of these from 92. Wonderful, full bodied cigars with good earthy flavor, nice construction & consistantly even burn. A winner - Submitted by Bassman on December 16, 2006

Review #7: i was in cuba last week and pick up a box from 2000, and tried one from the same year that was one display, wow, didn't want to put it down. just a great cigar and with some age, it just gets better - Submitted by MR_MINIWHEAT on November 22, 2006

Review #6: I recently smoked one of these from a '97 cabinet. Very, very nice. The first half is supersmooth, the second half was just smooth (not super). It's taste was spicy, maybe a little cocoa and definitely liquorice. The burn was perfect, but the ash fell of two times. It was a typical SLR, a brand which I start to like more and more! - Submitted by Bolivar on November 12, 2005
