Review #8: Had one from 2001 Cabinet yesterday evening at a smokersmeeting at our local LCdH. VERY good and even burn and draw ,lasted nearly 100 min. and tastewise I could easily give here another 5 years . Tasted somewhat fresh but very good. - Submitted by bolibeli on October 21, 2007

Review #7: a 2007 SLR CHURCHILL is actually burning slowly since one hour,it's only half way,and I must say it's a fantastic smoke, quite mild but very complexe:tons of flavors changing every puff.I agree with rewiew 4,if well chosen it's a gem! - Submitted by sulpice on September 7, 2007

Review #6: A solid preformer with a good draw and medium body. I got a great deal on this box in Jan. of this year and found the cigars to be wet and have a strong ammonia smell. Even thou the cigars were/are ugly they are constructed well. The flavors were complex with the slightest bit of spice on the back end. Will be interesting to see what the future has in store for these. - Submitted by jeht2000 on September 6, 2007

Review #5: Had an 06 earlier that is just coming around. When I got them they were really wet and took a few months to dry out. The one I smoked earlier today was a very good medium bodied smoke. That was complex till the end. Sorry, I can't describe the flavor but it was good. - Submitted by jeht2000 on September 6, 2007

Review #4: The last 5 years I might have smoked at least 200 churchills from SLR (I'm smoking one in this moment). You can even find, sometimes out of the right box, a "better" cigar, maybe a cigar with even more character. But it will be difficult to find another puros with this consistent high quality (maybe Partagas' Lusttania ?). This means a lo for a cuban cigar. Yes, they are by far the best, but often not really consistent in style and quality. The SLR's is a secure pleasure and keeps the promise. Never strong, but with intense body, silky, honey, floured, not to much animal, but elegant and a pleasure down to the last inch (or less). - Submitted by nebbiolo on August 17, 2007
