Review #8: Just received 2 boxes from the delivery man. Could not wait to try one. KMM MAY 04 box code. What an unbelievable cigar. The presentation is unbelievable, i took a picture with my phone and used as wallpaper on my phone. The prelight aromas are unreal, the first few puffs are pure heaven. The decedent and intoxicating flavors and aromas are pure cuban at their best. The first third is a tease of mild mingled flavors of cocoa, espresso, vanilla, cream soda. Once it opens up you are hit with a flood of classic cuban flavors, of another time and era. The overall strength is medium to full, however the edge is taken off from the aromas of chocolate, not strong dark swiss chocolate, but american chocolate. The espresso seems almost liquid like. The ash was almost 3 inches long before it fell off. The construction is the very very best cuba has to offer. One can only dream of a cigar of this calliber and quality, only a few years ago the Romeo brand was suffering in every way. Today i can truly report these cigars are the cream of the crop. The wrappers are dark dark brown almost oscuro, the construction is as solid as a brick, the draw is flawless. My man in HONGKONG was right about this one, buy as many as you can afford now, because once the word gets out they will be gone. WHY DO THEY HAVE TO BE LIMITED PRODUCTION WHY, WHY. A true 100 not a 10 as far as scoring - Submitted by bigyesta on March 11, 2005

Review #7: I am with Bolivar!! Great cigar. Indeed not as good as the Hermosos No. 1 EL2003. But with some age under the belt it can blossom to great heights. The flavour is medium to full. Some chocalate and coffee.Highly recommended, but age them a little. If only time could go faster! - Submitted by Actionhost on January 29, 2005

Review #6: Being a great fan of the Hermoso No.1 EL2003, I was very interested in this promising gem. I've had them recovering from their trip (ordered them on the internet) for about a month and couldn't resist them any longer. My expectations were very high, but his baby didn't let me down. In the beginning it's quite a mild cigar actuallly with lots of chocolate and coffee. After about 1/3th the flavour builds up, becomes more intense. It never becomes harsh or ashy though. Compared to the No.1, you can taste the age difference. At this moment, it isn't as good as the No.1 EL2003, but with some age ... who knows. Highly recommended! - Submitted by Bolivar on January 28, 2005

Review #5: i was really amazed by this one! it was a whole lot lighter colored - the wrapper and the blend too. but it really delivered on the flavors. it is certinly a bit smoother than the hermoso #1 - yet it had a flavor profile that was of equal merit. - Submitted by rascalbadmonkey on January 26, 2005

Review #4: Really enjoyable cigar. Yes of course it should be matured for a few years before it really develops its flavour but as it is it starts off mild-medium flavour and as it burns dow to the halfway mark the flavour begins to flow out properly and becomes medium to full in flavour. Dark chocolate, espresso, wet earth/peaty and quite nutty but remains very creamy. Not spicy really, just enough so you know it's a havana. It's not spot on but it will be with age, so top marks for potential. - Submitted by A. Dyer on January 4, 2005
