Review #38: Just finished smoking one that I had in the humidor for 3 and a half months. Very good draw, great taste at first, I would say medium-strong, the last third had some good intesity with a sweeter taste. A good one hour cigar if smoked patiently. A must-have for every humidor, just let it age for a couple of months. - Submitted by fajats on May 11, 2007
Review #37: I love it! This cigar offers what the RyJ brand represent, plus more! Of the 10 sticks that I have smoked so far, only 1 of them has a draw problem. But even that one, after fixing it up with toothpick, the taste was just heaven. The only reason why I didn't rate this cigar a full 10 is because I think it would become even better when it's properly aged in 3-5 years time. For those who love RyJ taste, try it and you will not regret it! - Submitted by M. Jen on April 23, 2007
Review #36: I have always been looking for that Cuban chocolate flavour. Until the RyJ Short Churchill, it had eluded me. Finally I have experienced it in such a great package. Not only are there some sweet notes, but some nice balanced spice. A well presented cigar, this Short Churchill had no burn problems and was perfectly rolled. This cigar is a definite "must-have" for your humidor. It will impress you every time. - Submitted by cookj1 on April 22, 2007
Review #35: This cigar boasts a perfect construction and draw. It is a very nouvelle vague cuban, in that it is very good fresh and has a very appealing blend. The downside to this, for me, is a total lack of complexity. The taste is very good - quite on the mild side, it is fruity and leathery with a nice "fresh" twang. It doesn't mutate at all, the taste stays the same all the way through, which I find dull in a cigar of this size. Had it been a 20 minute smoke this would have been quite appropriate, but for a robusto, I need something more. Got bored of it halfway through. Go for the Hoyo Petit Robusto instead, tastes similar but it is shorter, stronger and much more interesting. - Submitted by Sortemand on April 19, 2007
Review #34: This cigar is very attractive: the wrapper is very fine, the body is firm and with a wonderful "colorado" hue. Although still very young, it has the personality of a true Romeo: woodsy, spicy and mild. Mayby a touch too mild for my taste, but some aging should set things right. I've found some astringent notes in the middle, probably due to its youth. - Submitted by sasha on April 9, 2007
