Review #83: ---   Not a great developement in taste but overall a nice, mild and creamy smoke. The room aroma is exquisite, reminds me of Hupmann cigars. - Submitted by nikolaros on August 30, 2018

Review #82: ---   First of 2 5-packs my in-laws bought at Schipol Airport in Holland. 65 minute smoke. Perfect duration for me. Perfect draw, good ash, touched up a couple of time due to uneven burn. Relatively monotone smoke. No real progression or development. Basic Cuban tastes, woody, tobacco, no real berry notes which I have experienced with more expensive RyJ variants. Nice and smooth, never unpleasant even into the final 1 1/2 inches. Think these might do good with some humidor time. Good basic smoke and nice recovery after some less than stellar experiences in the last couple of weeks when I tried to smoke though a cold. Found a petit corona to be my perfect everyday vitola. Will explore this theme further over the next few weeks with some more complex variants. - Submitted by Rustyman on March 16, 2017

Review #80: On a recent trans-atlantic cruise, I purchased five different 'brands' of Cuban cigars at Chatham House in Bermuda, Stagnetto Ltd. in Gibraltar and El Corte Inglés in Barcelona. After 6-months in a humidor I have begun to try them with a Romeo y Julieta Romeo No. 2 Tubos from Barcelona, at €6.75, being one of them. For comparison, in the morning, I smoked a Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real Corona made in the Dominican Republic and in the afternoon the Cuban RyJ No. 2. It is not readily apparent that the Dominican RyJ is a 44 ring size while the Cuban RyJ is 42. Both cigars were "punched" rather than cut. The Romeo y Julieta Romeo No. 2 had good ash/burn for the full 60 minutes. The strength of both cigars was comparable. The Dominican Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real Corona did not have the notable spicy flavor present in the Cuban Romeo y Julieta Romeo No. 2. The intensity of the spice flavor increased during the last half and became comparable to a Cuban Montecristo No. 3. Other Cuban cigars that I have tried, Bolivar No. 1 Tubos and Punch Coronations Tubos, had no spice and a deeper-richer-bolder longer lasting woody/earthy flavor. Yet to be evaluated are H. Upmann Coronas Major Tubos, Romeo y Julieta Mille Fleurs, Montecristo Petit Tubos and Montecristo No. 4. - Submitted by Douglas B on October 27, 2016

Review #79: Well constructed but bitter with no complexity, overall taste is average, nothing surpising. I prefer the Mille Fleurs for less expensive! - Submitted by Petit Nyctale on May 13, 2016
