Review #5: I bought a box of these in the Mid-East for some Military freinds of mine. They are totally Hand Made in Cuba and are not machine made. Note: No Cellophane on these. It has a nice draw with some hints of chocolate and coffee. It took me about 40 minutes to smoke this cigar. The price was right for a box of 25. The burn was slightly uneven towards the end but that may have been caused by me drawing on it too frequently. I recommend this cigar for any occasion. - Submitted by Dansdad on May 6, 2007
Review #4:  The prelit sent carries a faint aroma of coffee. It makes you feel like you're in for the typical
RyJ experience, which is rarely a bad thing. It looks pretty standard, in a reliable way, and
is spongy to the touch. The prelit flavour is slightly empty, and the draw is on the tight side.
After lighting the flavour is cedary and very mild. As expected, very much the standard RyJ
affair. The draw smooths out, and smoke comes through easily. With the good construction,
nice format and likeable wrapper, it's a nice cigar to hold. Despite the spongy feel, it seems
to be well stuffed.
The draw falls back slightly to the tight side as the cigar progresses. The taste is pretty
standard Cuban stuff. Not bad, but not exceptional. The lack of harshness or construction
problems speaks in this cigar's favour. There's some refinement as you progress, which
helps beef up the performance.
Halfway through the cigar gets slightly dry, but continues the deliver a smooth, mild flavour.
However, the burn might become a bit too hot, making the taste on the tongue somewhat
bitter. But it also helps in creating a certain flavour of dark chocolate. Overall, the second
half reveals more evolution that the first.
The burn and draw are spot-on for the most of it, and the cigar will last a good 50 minutes.
During that time, you'll get a pretty average smoke at a sharp price, which is nothing to
complain about. The only drawback is that there's cigars in the same price range that
outperform this one. A good cigar for a quick burst, that won't bust your wallet. But
ultimately, nothing special.

Review #3: The machine made version of this cigar was discontinued. The current version is completely hand-made long filler (hence no cello). What a wonderful smoke! At a very reasonable price, you get all the complexities of a larger Habano in a 30-45 minute burst of flavor. Many floral/perfume-like notes, with plenty of earthiness. Review #2: I bought a box the Mille Fleurs (box date '03) and after having smoked 2 of them I can report that I really like them. I have not had any burn issues or construction issues of any sort yet. The draw is easy and the burn is steady, giving off lots of tasty smoke. The ash is solid but a bit flaky, but it doesnt fall off until the 3 inch mark. The flavors are earthy, woody, sweet and cedary, with a great aroma. They have started out with some spice in the first inch, then settle into a spicey, tasty creaminess through the first 3rd. The second third smoothes out a lot and shows sweetness and woodiness after that. The tastes are rich and good and all come back at the same time in the final third of the smoke. Perhaps overall they need some time to reach maturity for their goodness to show. I got them at a very good price (~4.00 a stick). I recommend these highly. - Submitted by Cactus on December 5, 2006
