Review #28: Not a bad smoke- not as complex as would have liked but overall good. Perfect for beginners. Starts off a little dry and flat, picks up around the middle- hints of cedar and leather with a nice spicy finish. Hopefully will improve with age- mine have been in my humidor for 2 years. - Submitted by gary72ss on February 6, 2006
Review #27: I have to agree with Uncle (reviewer 24) on this one! Fantastic smoke! Construction, aroma, and color are pleasing. My samples had been aged only an extra three months before I decided to give it a go. Burn was good, I also had to make some adjustments but it didn't really matter to me because this cigar has amazing flavour! Each easy draw got better and more revealing. Smoke volume was perfect and the tastes were of powerful spice and earth. I'm really looking forward to more of these RyJs! - Submitted by seadub on January 8, 2006

Review #24: Bought 5 from Baranow\'s in Melbourne and Benny Baranow was nice enough to give me the sticks from his personal cab (2-3 years age in his walk-in dor). Beautiful smooth darker wrapper with a soft, spongy feel. The aroma, unlit, was all cut wood and herbs. Lit, she burned a little unevenly at first but then straightened out with some judicious turning. The draw was unmistakably Romeo, easy and smooth with billows of smoke. After 15 mins she really opened up and the intitial smoothness was tempered with some white pepper, leather and sweet \"tarry\" notes. She never really got too hot and the final third gave even greater flavour that matached the intitial sweet, dark promise of the wrapper. A delightfully smooth and rewarding 45mins. The best R&J I have encountered yet. Recommend! - Submitted by Uncle on August 5, 2005
