Review #31: I thought this would be a real bruiser of a cigar from its reputation. The quality that struck me was its smoothness. Yes it is a strong smoke, but it is never bitter. The only shortcoming is that the flavour does not develop, but with that mouthful of power, I am not complaining. Mine had only a few months in the humidor, maybe they will develop. Very good value. Wondrful size and construction.

Review #30:  The Cazadores is a cigar of few illusions, but this does not mean that it is a cigar without character and merit. To put that statement into some context, if the world of Habanos were a jazz band, the Cazadores is the lead trumpet playing with such stank and edge that you cannot turn away: you're too engaged and mesmerized by it. I had the pleasure of obtaining a Cazadore as a gift from NOV 03. The appearance of the cigar was rustic, sporting a rich brown wrapper that was slightly veiny. A pre-light draw revealed cold pepper and earth. From the first draw a flurry of pepper dances on in your nostrils and on your palate. In the first third of the cigar the pepper is accompanied by undertones or rich leather and earth. As the cigar progressed, it gave hints of a burnt sweet wheat toast which lingered on the palate after each draw. In the second third of the cigar the leather and earth gave way to strong black tea which was accompanied to the everpresent pepper overtones. Dancing in and out of these flavors seemed to be a bittersweet taste, almost like baking chocolate, but this flavor never seemd to take full force. At this point I noticed that the aroma of the cigar itself is spicy and very pleasant. The final third is very strong and almost all pepper. At this point you feel like you are playing chicken. However, as reviewer 26 stated: if you can take the heat, hang out in the kitchen and enjoy it. This cigar may not be overly complex, but it's straightforward character with flashes of rich flavor will mesmerize you. This is a great cigar to accompany a nice steak dinner with a young, peppery Zinfindel. Review #27: BD 2003 definitivly not for beginners.
From the start on it brought tonns of typcal floral Romeo tasts which continue during the smoking to more and more herbal spicy aromas in an undiscribabel intensity. Smoked it for 90 min. during watching a crime story which was hard to concentrat on because the cigar pulls me away with every draw.Left a fantastic smell all over the house.
