Review #7: Best early morning smoke I can remember having. Smooth and mellow with a floral note and slight sweet tang to the smoke. - Submitted by RG on June 23, 2004
Review #6: The only bad thing about this superb cigar is the draw. Indeed, it's too tight and it alters the pleasure of a delightful smoke. Earthy and woody, with some sweet notes and a hint of pepper, the RJ Belicoso is an exquisite delight. Great mid-day cigar. - Submitted by Razvan Voncu on June 1, 2004
Review #5: When you reach for this cigar you are not expecting a powerhouse. You get all the elements you expect from a cuban cigar in a nice size that dont break the bank. The latest ones I have been smoking are from 01 and have been great and consistant through out.
A new box is on the way and I hope they are as good as the 01's. - Submitted by mecreature on April 28, 2004
Review #4: I will wade into the debate on this cigar. I found the cigar mild to medium strength with some nice woody, toasty notes and mild spice. The wrapper was beautiful and the burn great. Could however use more a bit more flavour for my tastes. - Submitted by jimcanada on April 28, 2004
Review #3: I have to disagree with tomhowzer. I think Romeo y Juliet is the most unappreciated brands from Cuba and this smoke is one of the line's greatest accomplishments. Mine was between two and three years old (from the RyJ Factory back in 2001) and I loved every second of it! Great construction with a draw that produced mouthfuls of smooth smoke, and a flavor that blended sweetness, cedar, toastiness, woody notes, nuts, and a strange taste that reminded me of pine. To the nub this cigar was never harsh or even hot. A superlative Habano! - Submitted by Black Plague on February 28, 2004
