Review #5: I have to disagree with jim, they are great cigars, not easy to smoke, but they taste great - Submitted by mike on February 19, 2004
Review #4: Purchased a box in Trinidad Cuba in 12-02. Many of these cigars were simply plugged or very tight with draw problems. When you do smoke one that is well rolled it was a very earthy and good cigar wothy of an 8 in score. - Submitted by jim on February 18, 2004
Review #3: I also had the 2002 box, and these smoke very nicely. A lot of the sweet woody flavor, with nice doses of cedar. Some age is necessary to bring out more of the earthiness, as well as to calm some of the flavors imparted by the varnished box. Not the easiest cigar to find, but a must-have. Put it in the back of the cabinet. It will get better and better. - Submitted by jdrabinski on November 13, 2003
Review #2: one month ago i bought a box of Ramon Allones 8-9-8 at the partagas factory in havana – boxing date 2002. though they are young, there are a real big smoke. as a fan of the dalia format, i would say this might be the best cigar in that size. this cigar had a dark brown wrapper and the construction was extremely well made with an earthy, but sweet woody flavor. these ramon allones are medium to full body. - Submitted by sebastian on October 27, 2003
