Review #17: FEB 08 My first experience with Quintero. I find it to be a fairly full-bodied smoke with no 'outstanding' flavors, but yet tasty and enjoyable. What I don't understand is the common perception that this is a 'strong' cigar. Has anyone ever tasted some of the non-cuban double ligero cigars out there, now they are 'strong'. I have smoked R&J cazadores, Bolivar B.F.,etc.(which are all rated as being strong cigars) and have not found either of these, among other cubans, as powerful cigars. I like strong cigars and I am hoping to find cubans that fit the bill, but my box of Quintero is not the rustic, old-school cuban I was hoping for. That being said, I do find them to be a quality smoke for the money, not the low priced cuban that packs a solid punch, does that even exist! - Submitted by birage on March 2, 2009

Review #14: With the JLP Cazadores, the Quintero y Hno. Londres Extra is my favorite cheapo puros. At six$-a-stick in Canada, you could say the price is quite right. And they do have an advantage over the JPL: their consistency. The Cazadores can either be a gem (then, I prefer it) or rolled crap (then I miss the simpler but truer Londres Extra). I bought several boxes in the past few months and NONE were substandard in any way. Some stick do have rather coarse wrappers. But surprisingly, I didn't get a stick that was plugged or burned like a bitch! It can be a strong cigar at times, but usually it is medium-bodied. Plus, it IS tasting better than almost any non-cuban competitor. Good choice for anybody. - Submitted by Franz-Eric on December 23, 2008

Review #13: NOV 07 This stick is excellent value for money. Perfect draw, firm and slow combustion. Lasts a good hour giving you the best of it when it gets halfway. - Submitted by El Greco on November 3, 2008
