Quai d'Orsay Gran Coronas Review:

This cigar is a Corona Grande despite the fact that its name is Quai d'Orsay Gran Coronas. Its main characteristic is that this is a mild cigar, but not bland, with light and delicate flavours. Not an easy smoke to find.

Review #8: A very decent mild cigar. I have only tried the one, and enjoyed its smooth almost creamy or buttery background. Mild herbal character on the palate, with delicious aromas of cedar and milk chocolate. A touch of licorice or root beer (??) in there somewhere. Nice, flavorful but not strong. - Submitted by stubby on October 6, 2007

Review #7: A very well constructed cigar. Veinless wrapper, even filling. Wrappers look like a caramel candy. The taste however is different. It definitely has potential. Starts of smooth and increases in strength slowly, never getting harsh or bitter. Definitely worth it's reasonable price! - Submitted by Eduard on July 31, 2007

Review #6: An ok cigar for the price. Mild and delicate, and completely lost in the second half, spoiling it completely. - Submitted by peanutaxis on March 4, 2005

Review #5: A great cigar, very subtle flavored, and as jdrabinski said, the aromas are the most enjoyable, in a very particular profile (I could detect burnt sugar and leather, more than beans). Very nice with a glass of Tio Pepe extra dry sherry. - Submitted by Estrella on December 28, 2004

Review #4: A wonderful small production cigar. The quality of the tobacco is first rate and the flavor and aroma is very unique. While it is certainly mild, it is definitely not bland. There's a citrus like 'tang' to this cigar that cannot be described. It can only be experienced. The GCs are certainly not for everyone, nor are they a cigar I would smoke at the end of the day or after a heavy meal as the delicate flavors and nuances of this cigar would be lost on an overworked palate. - Submitted by chris12381 on September 9, 2004
