Quai d'Orsay Coronas Claro Review:
Many cigar smokers agree that this stick is perfect for those who are not very used to smoke cigars, beginners. With smooth aroma and medium toasted tobacco flavour perfectly balanced with subtle hints of vanilla. The minimum ageing recommended for this cigar is at least three years.

Review #12: i FINALLY GOT EM! AMAZING... YES,COULD BE A BEGINNERS CIGAR. BUT IT IS A BETTER INTRO AS A FIRST TIME CUBAN FOR THE NEOPHITE CIGAR SMOKER THAT HAS TASTED HODURANS(PUNCH) OR COSTA RICANS(Vegas De Santiago,Bahias etc.) AND LIKES THEM. BY NO MEANS SHOULD THIS PARTICULAR CORONA BE DISMISSED BY THOSE EXPERIENCED IN SMOKING THE TRUE. i'M SORRY ABOUT THE LONG WINDED,BUT THERE ARE THINGS TO SAY..TASTE CAN CHANGE WITH THIS ONE.YESTERDAY i CRACKED THE BOX AND PARTOOK W/ A GLASS OF MENDOCINO,CA.SAUVIGNON BLANC. FIRST HIT WAS ABSOLUTE PEPPER W/ CITRUS LIME SKIN OIL ON THE PALATE.IMMEDIATELY FULL OF FLAVOR. TODAY, HOLY $#@%#^! IT'S A TOTALLY DIFFERENT CIGAR. HOME MADE SUNDAY MORNING CAPPUCCINO,NOW i'M READY..IMMEDIATE "CHERRY PIT" SEMI-SWEETNESS, FOLDING INTO FLORAL AROMAS W/FIG AND SPICE ON THE PALATE. i MUST SAY THE 01's, THATS THE LICK SO FAR....
BOX IS PEL MAR.01....EVEN AS MY PASSION IS STEEPED IN STUPIDITY i REMAIN,
Z THE POET. LIVE HEALTHY........ - Submitted by zeebo on May 11, 2008
Review #11: Lovely mild cigar. It has an earthy and woody flavour, slightly acid, and it is very dry. - Submitted by titobueno76 on March 20, 2008
Review #10: I'm with reviewer #9 -- this is a fantastic smoke that's woody, floral, and sweet. I've had some from 2006 and 2001, and the '01s take the cake. Definitely a cigar worth getting your hands on for your regular rotation or just a change of pace. - Submitted by theprof on January 5, 2008
Review #9: I am usually a fan of stronger smokes, but I worked through a box of 2001's and they were fantastic. Wood, nut, floral flavors ... no hint of spice at all for me ... but they were still fantastic. Great relaxing mild summer smoke. - Submitted by fabio on November 1, 2007
Review #8: I was surprised how sweet this cigar was. I had some burn problems right from the get-go, but they corrected after the first 1/3rd. This cigar had a very tight draw but openned up after the first 1/2 after some gentle massaging. I have not smoked a more sweet cigar. I highly recommend this cigar. Certainly a mild-medium cigar. I could smoke these all day long. This wasn't a cheap cigar, but I'll be looking to add a box to my humidor soon. It is worth seeking out this fine Cuban. - Submitted by cookj1 on April 22, 2007
