Punch Super Selection No 2 Review:

This cigar could be classed as a "Corona Grande" or a "Short Cervantes". It's a little diamond of the the punch cigars range, and although it is not as good as Punch Punch, cigar lovers will really appreciate it. All the qualities of the brand are present in this cigar.

Review #9: Having been a smoker of fine, handmade cigars for approximately 20 years, it is with due caution that I rate this cigar a perfect ten. I was fortunate enough to have been able to smoke one recently, and it had everything one could possible look for in it's taste profile. Complexity, smoothness, balance, flavors such as vinella bean, cream, and mild leather, all atop a bed of light spice. Razor sharp burn, I nubbed this cigar until my ips and fingers burned. Thank heavens I was able to procure additional sticks, albeit not nearly enough! - Submitted by knuck42 on November 11, 2007

Review #8: Finish, finish, finish. That's all I need to describe this cigar. It leaves an amazing earthy/spice finish that lingers on and on. The complexity of the smoke, which ranges from coffee-wood-spice-fruitiness? is sometimes too complicated to keep track of. I enjoy the Punch Punch for its straightforward flavors, but these can be amazing. At the same time, however, some of these have tight draws that will drive you crazy! - Submitted by fabio on October 28, 2007

Review #7: It is a shame that SS#2 doesn't get the recognition it deserves, may be because it is so hard to come by. To me this is by far the greatest corona gorda, full of complexity with soft spic and coffee undertone. My current stash is from 02 and I have to pace myself until I get may hand on another box - Submitted by worjor on November 26, 2006

Review #6: My sample came from 2001 and was absolutely delicious. Bursting with pungeant Spanish cedar flavor, with undertones running the gammut from coffee to honey to nuts to tea etc. etc. Very complex and a pleasure to smoke. - Submitted by Black Plague on March 4, 2006

Review #5: This cigar is just the right size and the right taste for end of ordinary day. This cigar is just standing at the front line for me together with Partagas Lusitanias & Montecristo Edmundo. I have bought a cabinet of 50 made in 2001 and it is just in great condition. - Submitted by along on July 22, 2005
