Review #8: DEC 07 Punch Super Robusto RE2006 from a box stamped EMA DIC 07. Beautifully constructed, well-packed. Excellent draw from start to finish. The tobacco flavors are clean and pleasant, new-breed Punch, milder blend than those of previous decades. However, the massive amount of youthful tannics need much more age to break down and become massive flavors; they promise a classic cigar in perhaps five years or so of careful maturation. I enjoyed this cigar but will wait several years before trying again, because I think what is coming will be worth the wait. If I'm right, the Super Robustos will be changing from today's 8 toward an eventual 10. - Submitted by cpubiz on January 6, 2009

Review #7: --- 06 Great cigar indeed! One of the best constructions I have ever had in a recent Habanos production cigar! Overall perfect, but will need time to come around. It has that dried flower aspect some classic Punchs have, so it will be interesting to see these evolve! - Submitted by Hercule Poirot on October 12, 2008

Review #6: Great cigar! Autumnal taste and aromas from start to finish. Definitely a top cigar! Not too much evolution, but at this levels who says it's fundamental! - Submitted by Alberto_Magnus on September 12, 2008

Review #5: This is one of the best Cubans I have smoked in months. This was pure pleasure. The draw was so perfect. Did Habanos S.A. get the best rollers for this release? There were some slight burn problems but I was sitting on a drafty patio that was not conducive to cigar smoking. I can only imagine how good these will get with age. I only hope that these make it into regular production. Something this good should be produced much more frequently. Buy whatever you can get your hands on and enjoy the intense and mesmorizing smoke. You will not be disappointed. - Submitted by cookj1 on April 7, 2008

Review #4: I also smoked one from an Oct 06 box. Savoured it with Graham '70 port. The cigar certainly looked very prety out of the box, but it tasted young still. The first inch was quite bland but it got a lot stronger and very peppery. I would put them away for at least 6 months before I try another one. - Submitted by worjor on December 9, 2007
