Review #51: I'm tempted to give my first-ever 10 just for consistency and longevity of my love affair with the PunchPunch, but I shall maintain appropriate sobriety. But a BIG FAT 9 for sure! The subtleties of the flavor almost elude me beyond describing as toasty and perhaps woody, but by the middle third the taste just never let's me down -- and seldom the draw. Recently recommended this cigar to a noob on another board and figured I'd follow my own advice. So I broke out a PunchPunch and have to say it's the nicest smoke I've had in weeks. - Submitted by carld on March 4, 2007

Review #50: A very good cigar representing excellent value. A tight roll that infrequently delivers a plug, but a rewarding rich and consistent palate is delivered time after time. Cabinet version is preferred. - Submitted by johnr on March 3, 2007

Review #49: I was fortunate to buy a box that has 3 years on the cabinet. Being my first experience with this cigar I will say I was taken back by the quality, smoothness, and taste. I love every opportunity I take to partake in this fine smoke. - Submitted by semery74 on January 12, 2007

Review #48: Great cigar, spicy and flavorful. This is la creme de la creme, of the punch line. - Submitted by seand on December 29, 2006

Review #47: Someone once said that there are no great wines, just great bottles. It seems that this is even more true with cigars. This review is for another from the same Nov. '01 box discussed in review #45, in fact the next one over. This cigar was, naturally, identical in colour, but different in every other way. While the wrapper was not perfectly smooth, the roughness was not 10% of it's previously reviewed box-mate. The construction was excellent, with an even burn and perfect draw from beginning to end. Deep and rich in body, with classic Punch flavours of fine wood and old leather. Very different from the more modern styled '04 as well, without the high-toned, fruity notes. Developed nicely, towards a great, strong finish. The aroma was rich and heavy, but utterly captivating; no delicacy here! The only criticism - a certain drying effect on the mouth, especially in the first third. Do keep a drink handy. Some further aging might solve this problem. All in all, a really satisfying old-school Habano. - Submitted by MontrealRon on December 8, 2006
