Review #16: I too had a box from 2001. Blond in color with hints of green in the wrapper. Terrible taste and smell. I had heard that other people had the same luck with 2001's. Wish I had known before I bought them. Other boxes have been great. - Submitted by flyer on September 24, 2004
Review #15: I have to agree with grodo on this one. Mine started out very bland. Then, about a quarter into it, it began to open up. When it did this, I started to believe that this could be a good cigar. However, after that it began to die down again. The draw was a little tighter than I like and it kept going out on me. Although this was a bad experience, I cannot completely rule this cigar out due it was the only one I had. Who knows, maybe next time if I buy another, it might redeem itself. - Submitted by InfrnalSky on September 8, 2004

Review #13: The punch i tried to smoke was horrible. It didn't smell too good, especially from 2001. It was real acidic, sour and the smell was unpleasant.
I tried to smoke as much as possible before i came to that conclusion. I sent the box back with a complaint and they were very helpful and promised to send another box...I hope the next one is from a good bach.

Review #12: I count the Punch Punch as one of my favorites...a special occasion/mood stick. A friend mentioned these at work and while vacationing in the bahamas, I lit one up... finished it, and went back for a second...and I was hooked. Firm draw..not overly tight thankfully. Recommend you let them sit for a month or two in your humi before you try..well worth the wait...slow even burn, smooth mild-medium semi-sweet pepper, earthy taste...right out of the box unlit, the aroma is heavenly...these should be a part of your humidor - Submitted by Tony M. on August 12, 2004
