Review #19: Not usually a Punch fan, but am highly impressed with a box from 1998. Great draw & construction, with strong earthy flavors but no tannic bite. One of the best PCs I've had. - Submitted by Bassman on March 18, 2007

Review #18: Perharps the best Mareva of all. - Submitted by papagiannoudis ioannis on January 3, 2007

Review #17: Dont buy these, there are so many better marevas. The flavors from the old classic punch cigars died with the Dot Com crash. Now it gave way to bland and floral notes with slight pecan finish. I dont know, maybe I've been unlucky with Punch the last 5 years, but even Mr Punch squared has tired these days to me. Cuba must be limiting the use of the good land to Punch and giving it to the EL's and more premium brands like Cohiba, Trinidad, and Partagas. - Submitted by mprach on September 16, 2006

Review #16: Smoke a 05 last week and was surprise by the this under rated cigar. The burn and draw was as good as any top cigar, taste of coffee and full bodied. I have decided not to smoke Monty 4 cause this cigar is a much better smoke. Good value and great smoke. - Submitted by pak on June 23, 2006

Review #15: I was just lucky enough to get a hold of a cabinet of these marked Sep 01. I've smoked my way through about a third of them and this is a marvelous little cigar. Fortunately, only two so far had a slightly snug draw, the rest smoked as close to perfectly as you can get. I have had a few before that may have been newer since they were almost all power with little complexity. Although the cabinet hasn't reached the complexity of, say, a Monte #4, they are stronger in body which is something I enjoy. This is not a cigar for a beginner smoker running probably second only to the Partagas Petit Corona (in the Mareva category) in strength. One of the reviewers said that they were on their way out. I would hate to see it happen. - Submitted by John Smith - NJ on February 13, 2006
