Punch Monarcas Review:

The small Habano by Punch. That whiff of good tobacco that all brands produce as a tibdit, almost like a sample of the perfume a lady is going to choose. Very good, very mild, very discrete

Review #21: SEP 98 Smoking a 1998 Punch Monarca is like smoking the essence of Punch brand, with all that comes with it - 10/10 is an understatement -1998 Punch Monarcas are classics, if stored properly, and only that. 1998s are the only way to go, if aged properly - the last of the Mohicans! and a Classic! - Submitted by BonVivant on July 9, 2013

Review #20: OCT 98 from a box of 1998. Will never understand why HSA had discontinued these cigars - it is a symphony of Punch - wood with cherry cordial flavors that linger for hours and hours. A nostalgia classic Churchill, a perfection in itself. - Submitted by BonVivant on October 29, 2011

- Submitted by cipu on February 10, 2010

- Submitted by cipu on March 4, 2009

Review #17: APR 01 Since reviewers of this cigar have come under review quite a lot recently, I would like to get back to reviewing the cigar! Personally, I don't believe a cigar in a tube ages that much, if any at all. It is my belief that a tubed cigar is supposed to be enjoyed for its freshness as supposed to an aged boxed or cabinet cigar. This is my second review, the first being late 06. It is still from the same box of 04/01. As you can see I do pace myself on this cigar as they are not as readily available as most churchills. It is a shame as this is truly a magnificent smoke and remains one of my favorite churchills. My recent experience has shown this to have much more charactor than a RJ and perhaps on par with Upman Sir Winston and Mornacas. - Submitted by worjor on July 12, 2008
