Review #7: Draw can be a little tight at times but when you get one with a good draw WOW!!! very complex. Has cream carmel and honey. The cigar as you smoke turns a little spicy but remains smooth. I smoked the REG German Release and overall find this to be one of the most complex cigars I have ever smoked. Also the presentation is very pleasing to the eye. - Submitted by sticksmoker on July 31, 2007

Review #6: A great tasting smoke! Burns even and slow so one can savour the moment. Not overly spiced, this lonsdale is medium in flavour and has a wonderful earth aroma. - Submitted by bronty01 on February 18, 2007

Review #5: Smoking an 06 German Regional Release right now. My first PL. A little more of a pull on the draw then I like but what marvelous flavors. Opened up more at the half way mark. I love this vitola. Young for sure but delicious all the same! - Submitted by DCJim on November 25, 2006

Review #4: A format which is losing supporters, as smokers now prefer robusto gauges. This lonsdale revives the old Por Larranaga fame: vanilla, nutmeg, toasted almonds, a flowery touch... a great smoking experience! I found it full of complexity without being overpowering. A very sophisticated Havana smoke. Alas, I cannot find them easily. Forget the current fashion of big cigars with coarse peppery pretensions, and enjoy the difference. Great to watch to, with its firm light grey ash and its rich volume of smoke. - Submitted by Frederick on February 9, 2005

Review #3: One of the best Havana lonsdales; excellent contruction, spicy, rich flavors from the start, unlike any other marquee; even burn. A must try... - Submitted by Fitz on February 7, 2004
