Review #30: SEP 08 Way too early to pass judgement, Have smoked 3 sticks so far, First two were unbelivable, the third was tight, but opened up one third the way through. Due to past experiance,in a year they will be a gem of a cigar. I hope I can stay outta them that long. - Submitted by vansquez on December 5, 2009

Review #29: SEP 05 How the hell did this little beauty get such a low rating? Sure, it's not the most complex stogie in the world, but it's a good honest smoke, with spice and a great aroma. I don't usually smoke Partagas, but someone gave me a box of these, and I'm very grateful for them. 8 from me. - Submitted by baobab on November 4, 2009

Review #28: JUN 08 i had finshed half box of this LE and always been satisfied its attributes. i was wondering why many reviewers expressed their reservations on this small vitola. from my POV, its presentation is good with dark-brown wrapper. aroma and taste are quite simple and single but pls remember we cannot compare with a churchill vitola. Draw is always smooth even better than the new LE 2009 of Upmann. finally i owned 3 more boxes of D-5 and no regreted on these collection. - Submitted by ericryan on October 15, 2009

Review #27: AUG 08 I have smoked 4 out of a box I picked up in Havana in March of 2009 and to say they are inconsistent would be accurate. 2 of the 4 have had great draw with plumes of rich Partagas smoke billowing from my mouth. Of the other two one was plugged and one fell apart like it was made my an amateur. EL's should all draw perfectly but in this case the Cuban's seem to be cutting corners again. I would have given these a higher score for the 2 so far that had perfect draw and taste but the inconsistency is disappointing. - Submitted by purofino on October 1, 2009

Review #26: If like me you have a heavy draw and prefer a larger cigar then this stick is quite unsatisfying. I was given two by a friend and was disappointed. It burned unevenly and seemed too hot by the second third. It's not all bad with some complexity: citrus, earth, and leather coming to mind. Nothing to do with the D4 so I wonder why it is designated "Serie D". The second was over filled making me draw even harder and the cigar burn too hot. The Petit Robusto vitola is rather problematic in this way. Much better is the Monty Petit Edmundo, although I'd like to try an aged Hoyo PR. - Submitted by john_larwood on August 18, 2009
