Review #16: Tried one from a store I picked up in Melbourne's casino, and right from just the look of this cigar I could see they were very well aged and rested. The store attendant informed me that they had improved since their arrival. I bought it and left to find a place to dine and smoke. What a treat it was! One of the smoothest, cool burning and flavourful cigars I have had in a very long time. I had to force myself to put it down. Burn was very good with the self correction factor always in place, and the flavours went from light and creamy to thick and meaty and the final was really Partags spice with a load of creamy smoke. The flavours still lingered in my mouth and the smell was stuck in my nose....how good is this cigar. I have not tried an 01 version but damn this was good, so I can only imagine what an 01 would be like. I want to buy a box or two! Great value. - Submitted by dragar on September 6, 2007

Review #15: WOOOOOW.Let them sleep in my humi for one month then I had to fire one up and it didnt disappoint.A true testament to Partagas name. From the pre-light thru the burn on on my finger from the nub cant say enough about this special cigar.Get them while you can cause this is gonna be a classic.I have smoked all the ELs and this one will surely be a classic! This should be rated at least a 9 on anyones scale. No doubt another classic from Partagas.if one month of aging is any sort of barometer! Cheers Partagas and dont let cost deter you if you can getem - Submitted by ami61154 on May 28, 2007

Review #14: This Partaga LE is a little bit different than all of the LE from Partaga in the past. The cigar starts off with hint of sugary taste (probably due to the Maduro wrapper) and ever slowly, you begin to taste the typically Partaga pepper flavor. I would rate the strength of this cigar to be medium and I find the overall quality to be excellent. The draw was good and the burn was mostly even. A nice quality cigar from Partaga, but for those who are big fans of the old Partaga taste, I think you would be better off with 898, Luisitania, or the recent D4 - Submitted by M. Review #13: Just back from cuba and picked up three boxes of these. I should have picked up a truck load. These are young right now but are just loaded with flavour. Medium to full in body a bit over humidified as they were so fresh but classic LE flavours and a great draw. Will be a 10 in a few months. - Submitted by jimcanada on March 15, 2007

Review #12: This cigar has good potential as it has all the complexity of a partagas. However the strength is not as strong as the older cigars. I have the same experience with a few other brand such as the Monty 2 and even a partagas P2. The cigar seller claimed that these cigar may have gone "to sleep". The strange thing about them is that all were from year 05 onward. Hopefully, time will improve the strength of these cigars. Overall, a well constructed cigar with good draw & burnt. - Submitted by pak on February 2, 2007
