Review #19: Smoked my first one yesterday - perfect construction resulting in thick, rich and delicious smoke. Quite pronounced leathery sweetness and vanilla creaminess, but somehow also showing an "empty mid-palate". By far not as strong and aromatic as I hoped, but it served magnificently to prove all the rumours I have heard about this cigar's creation... - Submitted by Hercule Poirot on June 3, 2008

Review #18: Was in London last week and stopped by the Davidoff store. Based on the reviews on this site I almost bought a box of the Partagas Piramides LE 2000 - thank goodness I only bought six. The first one had an extremely uneven burn and the draw was so tight I had a jaw ache the next day. The second one had an easier draw but the burn was somewhat uneven and the flavors were somewhat all over the place and not well married. In my mind this cigar cannot come close to the Upmann Magnum 50 -a truly classic cigar that is harder and harder to find (just bought a few boxes for safe keeping) - Submitted by Texas on April 21, 2008

Review #17: very good cigar. - Submitted by jkeller115 on February 20, 2008

Review #16: When I bought theses Piramides from Partagas, I would thought the cigars would be very strong. But when I smoked one, this was just a delight of finesse. So delicous, very creamy and spicy but not too much (but, don't forget, it's still a partagas). The perfect balance. Whaou. - Submitted by cgport on October 25, 2007

Review #15: just like every reviewer here, the chief regret was not stocking up sufficiently when it was available. It is the best smoke I've had.Something best enjoyed sitting down quietly with no distractions. The draw, the flavour, the wrapper are all just flawless! - Submitted by thomashopf on September 19, 2007
