Partagas Petit Coronas Especiales Review:
A very strong cigar and with the classic Partagas style and taste. Although bein machine-made, not blend change is appreciable. The minimum recommended ageing for this cigar is at least 5 years. Strength 4/5.

Review #17: I had high hopes for this cigar. Dark oily wrapper, lit up well and the draw was excellent after the first third. However, this stick was uneventfull throughout, with barely any taste. Overall I found it boring, maybe with a bit more age they'll come into their own, live in hope. - Submitted by aficionado.no.2 on May 31, 2008
Review #16: I originally wrote review #7, and now I'm finishing the box, and my opinion has not changed. These are fine smokes, with a great taste, even burn, wonderful aroma, and they provide me with an hour or more of smoking pleasure. These are great cigars, in my opinion, and I'll be buying another box soon. - Submitted by W. Merrifield on April 19, 2008
Review #15: Having recently reviewed the Juan Lopez as possibly toppling this cigar as my favouritr petit corona, thought that I would put this to the test...well, this is still my favourite example of this size. From a box code POS DIC 06 this cigar was upto standard - usual full bodied Partagas flavours, toffee, caramel and a long long finish as they say in the wine trade! I like this size and have 8 different brands in the humidor....this is still number one. Smoked perfectly, lovely light grey ash. Although some of the other less full bodied vaieties I would only smoke at lunctime, this is rich enough for me to have after dinner....only wish it was longer! Not sure whether the slightly larger ring gauge of 44 makes any difference?...as mentioned by emouch. On the basis that I would never give 10 out of 10 (as there must always be room for improvement) I give this a 91/2...but given the great value at 92.50 euros a box, today I am going to be generous and give 10 out 10! - Submitted by berlin120 on February 29, 2008
Review #14: I got four boxes all AGLJUN06 for a drive home from work smoke, they are handmade. For the price they are a good buy but stay away from the lighter wrappers. Partagas is the only brand that never impresses me unless the wrappers are dark I find the cigars nice but simple not age worthy. One of the four boxes I opened does have dark wrappers and I will let them age for a few more years but the other three are going to smoke up my car.I know I'm not giving them enough ageing time but there"s not a lot to start with. If you get to see your cigars before buying than this is a great value for money cigar, if not you can do better ! - Submitted by Richard Rose on February 7, 2008
Review #13: Box code is SML MAR 07. Good solid smoke. I did think it would be a little stronger than it is due to the fact that lots of dealers call it a very full bodied smoke. It does pick up a good amount of spice and strength in the middle. The construction is A+ for a box of moderate priced cigars I am incredibly impressed with the construction. The cigar starts fairly smooth with some sweet flavors lots of ceder and even some oak. Hugh clouds of smoke come out of these easy drawing cigars. The second half you get some more bitter and spicy tones. Very ligero taste. This is when you want a seasoned palate or else this Ligero taste may turn you off. The aroma is very pleasant yet rich kind of like new leather. All in all a great smoke at a great price. - Submitted by sticksmoker on February 1, 2008
