Partagas 155 Aniversario Dalia Review:

No accurate tasting notes can be given yet. For a more precise description, we have to wait for these cigars to mature properly during, at least, three more years.

Review #2: --- 00 I am smoking this last stick in my humidor, as I bought several loose sticks back in 2002 from the famous Hong Kong cigar shop Cigarro. I had the fortune to sample 109’s, Salomones, Robusto Extra’s and this 8-9-8. It is amazing this cigar still taste very earthy and peppery after 20 years. If my memory serves me correctly, the strength and intensity of this cigar has increased over the years. There is a subtle woody sweet taste during the middle part of the cigar, which is quite phenomenal. It is less aromatic compared to the Seleccion Privada No. 1 which I still have more than 15 sticks from a 1999 box. One needs to have a lot of patience to enjoy this cigar, as not only need to resist smoking it while aging, but also draw slowly while smoking it, for this to be a memorable experience. When the humidor first came out 20 years ago, it was the beginning of the trend of cigars with heavy ring gauge. Nevertheless, when smoking cigars with small ring gauges, one would appreciate the skills of master torcedor who can put together such a sophisticated blend in so little room. Although this is my last stick, I am grateful Partagas kept still the 8-9-8 as regular production. Looking forward to visit them in about 10 years or so. - Submitted by x-man on January 20, 2020
