- Submitted by cipu on September 4, 2009

Review #37: AUG 01 I prefer the petit tubos over the nr 4 allthough they are the same cigar. I prefer round instead of square cigars. I used to be a Davidoff man and dislike the tubos because cigars have to breathe, but now I'm a Min Ron Nee man and believe the tubos provide better aging allthough it will take longer. Besides I'm a sucker for the "bean flavours" (coffee, cocoa, vanilla). According to Nee the bean flavours reach a peak between 5 and 7 years and than fade away to be hardly detectable at 10 years. I would, very humbly, like to add my own little experience to his observations. Like my 10 year old Esplendidos still exhibit extremely strong vanilla flavours, my 8 years old petit tubos from 2001 still have that very nice Montecristo coffee aroma to a high degree. So storing in varnished boxes or tubos extends the peak of bean flavours (which was to be expected, but nice to experience...). I smoke them slowly to savour them to the max and they usually last me 1 hour after a light meal or later in the evening. One of the best smaller cigars for me. - Submitted by Tony Amsterdam on August 20, 2009

Review #36: Smoked one of these the other night after a decent meal. To be honest after the first third I was really disappointed... However then I really got the creaminess, and It gave me a hint of bitter coffee, then some creaminess. It was pretty spicy as well. The only issue I had with mine was It went out on me a good 3 times. the burn however was perfectly flat the whole way down. - Submitted by otomix on July 14, 2009

Review #35: I enjoyed another one of these beauties yesterday. She had hints of spice to it and the smoke was very full and fragrant. The construction was excellent. A wonderful hour long pause to life. - Submitted by jdelrizzo on February 4, 2009

Review #34: I just enjoyed one last night from a box I got in Cuba. A nice smoke, very much similar to the Monte 4 although I do like the asthetic appeal of the tube. Will keep in my humi - Submitted by jdelrizzo on January 25, 2009
