Review #3: I presume that these are the monte no.4 in a tube. I see some reviews where people think the company make special different cigars for the petit tubo... I have had a couple of these in the past and their construction was poor. But recently I bought some and they have very smooth wrappers, even all over. They are very box pressed (squared) even though they are in tubes...to be fair they were a little young and taste wasn't excellent. Smooth and creamy when it got going, but got a little hot near the end. Need some good aging to develop more flavour. - Submitted by A. Dyer on May 16, 2004

Review #2: Bought a few of these as I couldn't get Upmann's Corona Major. First off - it's more expensive. Secondly I'm not a big Montecristo fan. However, these were excellent cigars. Beautiful full nose out of the tube. Quite a mild flavour, not sweet exactly but quite smooth. A good start. Tastes a little of cocoa. Builds to become quite intense near the end. I did feel a certain catch in the back of my throat when finished. This tubo wasn't all that strong - not as powerful as the Corona Major - but I did feel like I'd had a good smoke when I'd finished. - Submitted by willisoften on May 5, 2004
