Review #39:

I had my first No.3 while on a trip to the Candian F1 Grand Prix. The first thing I noticed was that the cigar was a tad dry, this could have been due to inadequate storing. The draw was affected by this dryness I believe as the first 35mm was a bit of a hard draw, but after that the cigar really came to life. Sipping Red Label scotch made the cigar excellent. The smooth and relatively mild flavor of chocolate and coffee made this Habano excellent. - Submitted by ERoyce on June 20, 2007

This Montecristo is particularly unattractive. Out of only a handful of cigars, I've experienced draw problems with two...understandable, considering these are made by the rookie torcedor, but nevertheless unacceptable. The flavors follow classic montecristo: chocolate cuban spice. Despite excellence in flavor profile, one must account for failures...I say "7". - Submitted by lincolon444 on April 8, 2007

Smoked my first monte No.3 while at the beach drinking a scotch on the balcony,construction was perfect,loads of smoke but no disernable flavour was found(much like the Jose Piedra crema I smoked the previous evening)at $19 Aussie,I dont think I will be trying another in a hurry.Reminded me of a No.5 as far as taste goes. - Submitted by aussie shaun on March 26, 2007
