Review #64: My interest in cigars started four years ago when my wife’s cousin, an avid cigar smoker, introduced me to the Cohiba brand. The power of that cigar (I believe it was an Esplendidos) was quite frankly overwhelming but started me on a search for a cigar that I could call my own - something medium in strength with a flavour, construction, draw, and appearance that suited me. Of course, I didn’t have a clue what any of these things meant until I started reading the reviews here and I applied these points of reference to several fine cigars over the years. I have come to realise that the Montecristo No. 3 is my cigar. I find it to be perfectly balanced for the occasional smoker with the smooth tobacco, coffee, and light vanilla tastes so many smokers describe here. My perfect evening consists of my wife and me enjoying a bottle of Baco Noir, she with her book and me with my No. 3; looking up at the stars from my deck. For the occasional smoker or those looking for a medium strength indulgence, this is the perfect cigar. Now, with two humidors of successes and lessons learned, I’m looking forward to an associate’s return from Cuba next month as I have asked him to try to find a box of Montecristo Sublimes LE 2008. If I am lucky enough to get my hands on these, I will be sure to share my thoughts as I step it up to a bolder cigar experience in the Montecristo line. - Submitted by MonteFan on September 1, 2009

Review #63: I read alot of reviews, and having taken up cigar smoking recently, I must say this is my BASE cigar, the one I can use to judge all others, it is a good cigar, fine, with a draw that seems too easy when one smokes it the first time, compared to let's say a Romeo Y Julieta, but once a person finds the balance of this cigar, it is definetly, the best cigar to smoke on a daily basis. I prefer to smoke it outdoors, and it is better had whilst sitting relaxed as opposed to going for a stroll, but still the flavor stands, wherever. It is very spiced cigar, but the taste is continuous, as opposed to some other brands or models that are a rollercoaster of tastes and experiences. One can always count on the Montecristo N3 to deliver. The best part is it leaves a pleasant after taste in the mouth, that can really leave the smoker enchanted with the whole experiences. Definetly a Gentleman's cigar:) - Submitted by cedaroflebanon on August 16, 2009

Review #62: Buen habano! Unos aromas muy ricos (café, cacao, cedro), con un tiraje perfecto. En el segundo tercio noto que desarrolla toda la complejidad aromática, dejando un retrogusto muy interesante. Muy buen aspecto, con una capa muy cuidada. - Submitted by acv on August 12, 2009

Review #61: JUN 04 Forgot I had a some of these stashed away underneath all other kinds of stuff. A really pleasant surprise: smooth, not too strong, with all kinds of nice things going on. An easy going smoke I'm surprised is so lowly rated... - Submitted by baobab on August 9, 2009
