Review #9: Also had my first #1 yesterday in the midst of a #2 smoking trend. A pleasant cigar - agree with reviewer #7 about a sweet almost fruity taste. Not a lot of smoke volume but the stick from an 02 box redeemed itself at the final third with rich nutty taste. - Submitted by robinottawa on May 22, 2005
Review #8: Like most montecristos it smells diluted, almost watery unlit. It is of medium if not mild flavour. A very fine, mustardy flash of heat at times. The weight of name leads to disappointment. Overall, a very boring cigar. - Submitted by peanutaxis on May 20, 2005
Review #7: I had my first no.1 a yesterday. Normally I smoke no.2's. Anyway, this was a very good smoke, very balanced and somewhat fruitty to begin. Hate using silly words like 'fruitty', but what the heck. I recommend this one for a relaxing, light and not so serious mood. - Submitted by LM on March 3, 2005
Review #6: A very good cigar, especially after dinner. Distinguished appearance, bold taste (nuts and beans), but a creamy smoke. Smoothness is the word for this marravelous habano. Outrageously underrated, by the way. - Submitted by Razvan Voncu on February 23, 2005
Review #5: I've been letting a few of these sit in my humidor for the last 6 months and they are smoking great right now. Beautiful colorado wrapper that burned perfectly. It was a medium bodied smoke that started off with sweet nutty toasted tobacco flavor that became more cedary as the cigar reached the middle third. In the last third the cedar flavor receded and the cigar's sweet coffee flavors became more pronounced. I hated putting this cigar down.
Perfect cuban. - Submitted by ML on January 2, 2005
