Review #9: A fine peppery medium bodied cigar with the typical Monty profile. Appealingly dry flavors. A very good smoke. - Submitted by pachemar on January 14, 2006

Review #8: This is a rich and flavourful cigar, and surprising for it\'s slim gauge. Burns well and not too fast, but certainly not a slow burner. First third is cedary and smooth with coffee notes, second third becomes fuller in flavour and richer, creamy, a little vanilla and vegetal notes join the woodyness, final third becomes quite strong and peppery and should be smoked slowly. A very enjoyable cigar for late afternoon or after dinner, lasts about 60 minutes and is very satisfying :) - Submitted by A. Dyer on July 14, 2005

Review #7: Just received my first batch from Geneva-truly a bomb of rich spices including cinnamon and a pleasant sweetness becoming throughout the cigar(taste and aroma). Top-notch burn and draw. Not my favorite vitola, but VERY welcome addition to my humidor. Highest recommendation. - Submitted by bolivarhombre on June 8, 2005

Review #6: picked up a box of these last year. very nice and elegant flavors, with a surprising allspice creaminess in the middle third. some very tight draw problems throughout one third of the box is the only thing that holds these back. - Submitted by harwellplant on March 8, 2005

Review #5: recently tasted my 2nd Especials #2 from a box dated FR NOSU (la corona oct 98). was one of the best cigars i've had to date. a little dry nutty earthy spice to start. turns a little like cinnamon spices, then gets a little of that monte creamy profile, then back to earth/coffee. excellent burn, draw, aroma and flavors. - Submitted by IHT on December 3, 2004
