APR 18 Just received a box of these ASR ABR 18, and smoked one ROTT… Great cigars, chocolate, cream, coffee, leather, all with the perfect amount of each flavor. Great size as well. JUL 18 Wow. One of the most incredible boxes of cigars I've ever had the fortune to purchase! A few slightly firm draws so far, but still plenty of smoke coming from those ones and the flavours are out of this world. Rich yet delicate, creamy with a touch of pepper and exotic spice. Layers of woods, fresh ground coffee beans, cream and cocoa with hints of citrus, nutmeg and cinnamon. A slow and subtle progression of strength into the final third where I was surprised further with a little sweet but dark leather and a touch of shortbread and clove. Wish I'd bought more as these still have plenty of heft and legs to indicate they will only get better and better with more age. All are smoking to my fingertips before getting hot too. APR 19 Wow. Normally I'd go for the longer Especial #1, but these ones were incredible. Perfect construction, draws, beautiful wrappers and so much complexity. When blended right, you can get a ton of complexity from these and with more intensity than the fat gauge cigars which tend to water down the flavours with excess volado to fill out the gauge. Coffee bean, woods, cream, a touch of leather, baking spices, herbal notes, a hint of caramel and even licorice. Gorgeous and smoked evenly and cool right to the fingertips. - Submitted by A. --- 19 I bought a box of these on my trip to Cuba and I am glad I did because these are some of the best sticks I tried this year.
