Same size as Cohiba Coronas Especiales. Stronger than other with same characteristics, this cigar need a proper ageing to reveal its real potential, minimum five years recommended.

Beautiful thing. Never been let down by one. One or two from more than 20 cigars a bit tight maybe but even those smoked very well. Στο πρώτο τρίτο, οι γεύσεις είναι σχεδόν ανεπαίσθητες, εξαιρετικά λεπτές, σε κάνουν να νιώθεις ότι κρατάς κάτι καλό στα χέρια. Οι αποδείξεις έρχονται γρήγορα, με απαλές νότες από ζεστό δέρμα και άρωμα βανίλιας, που δίνουν τη σειρά τους σε καβουρδισμένους τόνους ξηρών καρπών και μία αίσθηση μέντας. Όλα αυτά όμως, είναι απλά προπομπός για το πάρτι που ακολουθεί μετά, τον τρελό χορό πάνω σ’ ένα παχύ χαλί ζεστής σοκολάτας και όμορφα καραμελωμένο μαλλί της γριάς, που κρατάει σχεδόν ως το τέλος. DEC 05 Monte Especial No. 2 is true Cuban classic in any respect. Unfortunately I didn’t have much luck with them lately and when I had really good one it wasn’t from my box. This one (NRG DIC05) was average looking with greenish wrapper, a bit under filled but with careful drawing smoking was a pleasure. Typical Montecristo flavors of coffee and cream in medium body were there from the beginning till end. Quite complex for this thickness but I think that will gain from few more years of aging. - Submitted by Diademo on November 26, 2008
