Montecristo Montecristo Especial No. 2 Review:

Same size as Cohiba Coronas Especiales. Stronger than other with same characteristics, this cigar need a proper ageing to reveal its real potential, minimum five years recommended.

Review #59: APR 19 Wow. Normally I'd go for the longer Especial #1, but these ones were incredible. Perfect construction, draws, beautiful wrappers and so much complexity. When blended right, you can get a ton of complexity from these and with more intensity than the fat gauge cigars which tend to water down the flavours with excess volado to fill out the gauge. Coffee bean, woods, cream, a touch of leather, baking spices, herbal notes, a hint of caramel and even licorice. Gorgeous and smoked evenly and cool right to the fingertips. - Submitted by A. Review #58: --- 19 I bought a box of these on my trip to Cuba and I am glad I did because these are some of the best sticks I tried this year. Even burn, good draw and excellent flavor and aroma, the last third is always the most enjoyable for me. Smoking time amounted to around 70 minutes - Submitted by kvadranti on December 10, 2020

Review #57: FEB 14 Get these while you can, perfect size and probably one of Montes best blends. Smooth, creamy, light to medium, packed with character. I regret not buying more than a box. A cigar done right. - Submitted by Futokuko on June 14, 2019

Review #56: OCT 18 Oh my goodness. What a wonderful smoke out of an Oct 18 box. Creamy, vanilla, chocolaty taste coming from every puff of this heavenly cigar. Nicely paired with a not too strong cup of Americano! - Submitted by tcmcigar on June 6, 2019

Review #55: ---   JUL 17 Box. A fantastic and sophisticated Montecristo. Full of precious wood, coffee and earthy notes in a medium bodied smoke. After wasting money in many substandard no. 1 and no. 4 Montecristos, this one saves the reputation of the brand. It costs more though, but they are worthy. Guess they should age beautifully, not sure if I will wait. - Submitted by titobueno76 on August 24, 2018
