Montecristo Joyitas Review:
Tangy and fruity taste that is not easy to find in a small cigar, so those who do not take them seriously should try this one. With a minimum ageing recommended of three years this cigar shows great potential, but if you want it to make you feel a really outstanding smoking experience, ten years would be perfect.

Review #10: Much more similar to a cigarette than to a cigar, this little stick delivers a strong earthy flavour when you smell it unlit. The construction seems good, though the best wrapper leaves are reserved for larger and more prestigious formats: notwithstanding this, it looks enough fine and silky.
The price is low to be a Montecristo, but you can buy much bigger cigars with the same amount.
The beginning showed some draw problems and a very thin flavour, really strange for the brand; the strenght is very low, too. Going on, the taste intensifies a little, but really nothing to share with other Monte cigars I'm used to. Somewhere I read a review stating this is a really strong cigar for its size: yes, sure, if you're a Philip Morris Ultra smoker, maybe.
Speaking about thirds and evolution will make little sense in such a small vitola, so let's say that halfway down you may begin to recognize you aren't actually smoking a cigarette. Now this little thing seems to remember it's a cigar and it has a name to keep up to, so it delivers some more flavour, with woody and earthy notes; nothing to write home about, however. What are surely better now is the draw, finally decent, and the strenght.
In the end, we finally have good draw and a little spiciness: from a Montecristo, priced like a Montecristo, you should expect something more.
If you like this format, Davidoff Demi Tasse cost a fraction of the price and are way better. - Submitted by sasha on October 30, 2007
Review #9: I found this little cigar to be pretty decent for both the price and quality. Looks amazing, but was expecting more in terms of taste being a fan of the No.2. Uninspiring but worth a try. - Submitted by DurtySanchez on April 23, 2007
Review #8: Being a die-hard fan of the Montecristo #2 I has to say this Monte' is dispointing. A nice looking cigar and certainly looks the part. Certainly had a great aroma however the draw was inconsistent until the final third, just when the flavour kicked in. Such a shame because when it smoked well and the flavour came through it was a really nice little cigar. I have three more to smoke, being kind maybe I had a duff one... If so I'll let you know. - Submitted by nicedraw on December 24, 2006
Review #7: I got this cigar to kill a little time in the airport, but ended up not smoking it till a party. I have to say, that i wasn't particularly struck by the flavour. As a montecristo, I was expecting much more. To me, it was only slightly better than a Jewel Sweet or cheap cigarillo. The draw became very uneven half way through and the draw was inconsistant. Definately not worth buying in large quantities. - Submitted by BoliH62 on December 17, 2006
Review #6: One of the worst habanos I've smoked in my life.
Just like a bad Canary Islands cigar. It had no taste at all.
Is this a Montecristo? - Submitted by Veguero on June 2, 2006
