Review #68: Highly recommended. My absolute favorite Cubano right now. Well into my second box and have only laid 2 down. Easy light, great burn, beautiful ash and phenomenal flavor. Stays nice and cool until the last quarter. Almost a 10. - Submitted by JJA on August 6, 2006
Review #67: When you get a good Monte they,re excellent. When you get a bad one they're horrible.I was hesitant to smoke this after the horrible #4 i had a few days ago.I'm happy to say the Edmundo is great.I like the slightly larger than robusto size.Reccomended. - Submitted by afuentelover on August 1, 2006

Review #65: After having smoked 8 of these over the past few months I feel its time to say a few words about this great cigar. All were from an April 2005 box of 25. My first one was a bit of a letdown...not because it wasn't a well constructed or tasty cigar, but because I smoked it thinking it would be similar to one of my long time favorites, the Montecristo #2. The Edmundo does not have the raw power and spice of the #2, HOWEVER it has its own charms, and is now one of my favorite cigars. All 8 I have smoked so far had flawless construction, nice wrappers and appearance. The smoking experience is wonderful with an easy draw producing gobs of thick smoke and nice mellow taste of cafe au lait and toasty cedar with a creamy mouthfeel and with a nice underlying sourness or "twang" that keeps this smoke very well balanced (much like the right amount acidity balances with the fruit structure of a well made wine). This cigar has never let me down. I tend to prefer smokes with a bit more age, but these year smokes have been excellent, and have never let me down. I'm curiuos to see how these will be with some years of age, but somehow I believe that the mellowing or smoothing out of flavors that tends to occur with age may not be ideally suited to the Edmundo...at least for my tastes. - Submitted by HABANO DUDE on May 20, 2006
Review #64: Smoked my 2nd and 3rd of these this week. Wonderful. Great draw. Flavorful. Smooth, medium strength. Beautifully made. I've run out of platitudes... - Submitted by donk93953 on May 18, 2006
