Review #5: I am a fan of the Montecristo Open line. It is good when they come up with new but quality products. The Eagle however is very one dimensional. Lots of smoke and nicotine on the upside. Not great for my taste, but perhaps a cigar for someone who is not as demanding. Will I smoke it if offered: Yes, Will I buy them: Not often. As the name suggest, smoke it in open space. Good for golfers, fishermen, hunters est… Note: Regatta is the best in the line. - Submitted by dimi681 on November 21, 2013

Review #4: This cigar was as flat as... I truly hated this one this cigar. All along I thought, who is going to like this, it seems filled with Volado leaf only. I agree with review 3, have an Edmundo or a No.2 and save your money. As far as review 2, you must be crazy, because the 520 is a shinning star and this one is the worst Monte I have ever had. - Submitted by phillys on April 13, 2013

Review #3: why did they make these?! Has nothing to do with Montecristo as far as the flavors go 1.5 hours of blandness stay away from it have an Edmundo if you want a fat Montecristo - Submitted by Ahmedjadail on March 21, 2013

Review #2: The best one from the open, and probably the best monte, for a long years...In my opinion, after 3 years of aging (at least), is better than sublimes of 2008. In every case, fly like an eagle... - Submitted by Dorian Gray on September 25, 2012
