Review #17: ---   Αυτό το Tainos που καπνίζω, (με το δεύτερο δαχτυλίδι “Seleccion Orchant @ Wolters”), αγγίζει τα όρια του classic. Δεν έχει τύχει να δοκιμάσω το απλό Churchill αυτής της brand, (που εκτιμώ ιδιαίτερα), αλλά τούτο εδώ είναι ένα εξαιρετικά ώριμο πούρο, με όμορφο σκούρο περιτύλιγμα σοκολάτας, εξαιρετικό prelight άρωμα, τέλεια κατάρτιση και λεπτές γεύσεις. Ένα Churchill με έντονη προσωπικότητα και γλυκιά - καρυκευμένη ισχύ, που διαχέει στο χώρο ένα πολύμορφο μπουκέτο από διαφορετικές αποχρώσεις. Ένα παντεσπάνι από φίνα κουβανέζικα καπνά - γλυκύτατο φουγάρο, που χωρίς τυμπανοκρουσίες και φανφάρες, δείχνει το δρόμο προς την κορυφή. - Submitted by cipu on September 21, 2009


Review #16: APR 07 I've been smoking Tainos for a few years now ever since I bought my first box of 10 in a Cuban cigar store in 2005. I think they had a 2001 box date and they were delicious. Although somewhat on the milder side of medium strength what I like about them is their consistency in both taste and construction bearing the hallmark coffee and toast flavours synonomous with many Cuban cigars. My lastest batch bear April 2007 box dates and are still a little fresh but tasty. If you want a mouthful of tongue blistering, lip searing power bursts of smoke then this is not the cigar for you. Similarily if you're looking for a highly complex range of flavours that would challenge the descriptive powers of mainstream cigar magazine editors then go to Havana if you can and try something off the shelf. By the way the Medaille D'Or No 2's are stronger tasting and the best LGH has to offer in my view. Dollar for dollar La Gloria Cubana Tainos are a good value. I've brought them back from Cuba and bought them on line from a Hong Kong distributor and never been disappointed. Review #13: I had expected this to be a much better cigar but I was slightly disappointed. This Tainos had draw problems. It would burn hot, then tight, and then not draw at all. It was a real struggle smoking this cigar, and the flavours were good, but not great. The flavours weren't overly complex and it didn't build in strength. It seemed one dimensional to me. If I'm going to smoke something in this size range again, it probably won't be a Tainos. Smoked this at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas on Memorial Day long weekend. - Submitted by cookj1 on May 26, 2008
