La Gloria Cubana Medaille d'Or No. 3 Review:

Long slim panetelas which is the best La Gloria Cubana Medaille d'Or for many smokers. Draw problems in very rare occasions, almost never. Its tiny ring gauge can give us a wrong impression, because this stick hides big complexity. Fruity complex taste and aftertaste.

Review #13: Same remak as with n°4 : too many cigars with a tight draw. Such a pity when you know how good the properly rolled ones are. - Submitted by kriss on September 12, 2008

Review #12: Very enjoyable. Much better than the No. 2, in my opinion. I have yet to have No. 1 or No. 4 to compare. Intense flavours and big plumes of smoke. Despite the format the draw and construction is excellent. Just good Cuban tobacco here. Earth, leather, and a hint of spice. The floral notes come out more in the aroma than the taste. A very good balance between all flavours. No detection of ammonia. I did have a cracked wrapper but it is due to mishandling, not a flaw of the cigar. Perhaps it is a fragile cigar. - Submitted by cookj1 on June 30, 2008

Review #11: Excellent cigar & one of my favorite "undiscovered" gems. Taste as previouly described & beautiful 8-9-8 presentation in lacquered box. Remember though that due to the size it will heat up on you if you smoke it too fast or puff it like a robusto, definitely a more refined smoke for moments of quiet reflection on the back porch. Excellent construction, and out of the 3 or so boxes I've smoked over the years I think I have only encountered 1 dud. Thank god they remain undiscoved by most, keeping the price reasonable. So if you can't make it to the island, they can be found online for around $130 a box. - Submitted by oc2noho on March 25, 2008

Review #10: Good quality tobacco, with some slight richness to it. Burn was good, no problems at all. Flavors weren't bad. But it was just a teeny tiny tad bit harsh for me. Will have to try again at another time, but I think the ring gauge is maybe too thin for me. But I love Por Larranga Monte Carlos, which are a little bit thicker I think. - Submitted by Jimbo on August 30, 2007

Review #9: Very nice cigar when not too tigh ! - Submitted by kriss on July 11, 2007
