Review #23: Great Cigar for a corona Gorda, I loved it more than a Siglo IV, with all my respect to Cohiba! - Submitted by eltango on March 9, 2007

Review #22: I had already tries the selecion No 2 Robusto, but it's the first time I have found the No 1. The first one was rather disappointing, by means that it was so tightly rolled that I could hardly smoke it. Afther spending a couple of weeks in my humidor though, the following sticks were a pleasant surprise... I already bought 3 more cabinets that I intend to age a little more. - Submitted by cgkrdc on December 5, 2006

Review #21: I was quite reluctant to make a second review for this cigar, I dont want them to become well known :-) But it is our obligation to inform the fellow aficionados of the gems we discover so here it goes. This Corona Gorda, does not taste as the No 2 (the BEST robusto from Cuba), but has a profile of its own. It has the typical Juan Lopez herbal tastes and there are hints of caramel, roasted nuts, amber and bits of fine leather towards the end. It's a very mellow cigar, with perfect burn, wonderful construction and flawless wrappers. All this under the umbrella of traces of black pepper. Its a very good cigar, try them out with 3 years of age (the 2003 has been an amazing year for the Juan Lopezs) - Submitted by Dimitris in Athens - Greece on September 6, 2006

Review #20: I've been smoking the JL #2 which has become my favorite Robusto and saw the #1's on sale so I gave them a try. Box date Aug '05. What an excellent cigar. It's smokeable right now and a pleasure it is. Full bodied and very complex, every one of the 15 I smoked had a perfect burn. - Submitted by John Smith - NJ on September 3, 2006

Review #19: Pleasantly surprised! - Submitted by Nivel Acuso on June 24, 2006
