Juan Lopez Seleccion No 2 Review:
Together with the Selección No. 1, these are undeniablly the two best cigars from Juan Lopez. These cigars have propelled Juan Lopez from a 2nd class manufacturer into the league of great cigar makers. The "robusto size" smoker will really appreciate this cigar.

Review #57: This is a amazing cigar that is practically unknown for the masses - a real dark horse in the humidor.
Thick powerful and delightful smoke from the very first draw. Among many tastes - there is a pleasant salty tone that I have only found in some Cuaba-cigars earlier.
Unortunatly do I not know how old this cigar was. - Submitted by Johan B on June 5, 2008
Review #56: I kept thinking of a piece of toast with Nutella on it while smoking this cigar. Lots of toasty chocolate here. Too bad I had the usual Juan Lopez problems with the draw. I suspect this cigar was overhumidified. The cigar burned hot and SLOW. ...very slow. It burned even, but It took over an hour to get through this robusto. Robustos usually take me 45-50 minutes to smoke. Because of the draw problems, it was a frustrating cigar to smoke. Fortunately, I find the flavour profile extremely appealing. The wrapper was extremely oily. Very nice aroma. This was very enjoyable when it opened up, but very frustrating when it would close up. There's a definite sweetness here and I'd say it's more chocolate than caramel. Very similar to the Seleccion No 1 but No 2 is more to my liking. - Submitted by cookj1 on May 12, 2008
Review #55: Half way through the 2004 box, this one is getting better en better, it's just pure magic, creams and beans. Glass of Havana 7 years and a can of coke by the side, was perfect for this one. Mine are really oily and dark, and the box smell is pure bliss. I think I opened it already a 100 times ( the only one similar is my box of upmann 46), the smell of succes!!! Thank you JL! - Submitted by Yapi on May 11, 2008
Review #54: The cigar started rather bland, and took about an inch to start to really get going, but once it did, it became a pleasant smoke. It's profile was woody, with a slight creamy caramel taste. The final third was almost peppery. - Submitted by grahamb on March 23, 2008
Review #53: I had one of my 8 today. This is a beautiful looking old style cigar. It started very rough and a bit bitter, but after the first 1/3, it started to explode with great cuban flavor. The draw was flawless and the taste was light spice and a bit of cedar. Beautiful clouds of creamy smoke and a great draw. It burned a bit uneven, but it was so good I smoked it down to two fingers worth and I have small fingers. So yes I will be buying more of these great cuban cigars. - Submitted by nnjlon2 on March 16, 2008
