Review #17: Tried one when it arrived--no humidor time. Surprisingly good and it's just a petit corona. As if I swished black pepper in my mouth. Mid-way pretty darned strong. Gave me a mild buzz. I liked it. Different blend of tobaccos. - Submitted by jchitwood on October 25, 2007
Review #16: although i am not so found of the square shape of the pressed box selections, this is a nice and smooth cigar with good constuction and burn. interesting but not outstanding, for my taste. a good mareva but not among my top choices. - Submitted by zumbi on September 4, 2007
Review #15: He tenido ocasion de fumar varios de estos cigarros y en todas las ocasiones me ha parecdo excelente. Con una buena fortaleza y cuerpo, excelente quemada y un largo post-gusto. Lastima que no se distribuya en Espaņa. - Submitted by jordibetriu on July 9, 2007
Review #14: I'm still listening to Buena Vista Social Club as I write this. The lingering wafts of a marvellous cigar are still there. If you can't enjoy this little gem then you must not love cigars or have a palate !!! The subtle sweetness, spice and perfume of this cigar aren't anything I've ever experience in a cigar in any price range. I've had all the Siglo range, Trinidads and nearly every highly respected Havana and these are easily the most enjoyable........and what a bargain !! I expected the box I picked up in Spain (Sept 06) to be a little young but I was itching to try one and see just how long I would have to age them in my humidor. Instict told me that underneath the shiny-earthy red Colorado wrapper, there was a beautiful experience, waiting for ignition. When I lit it it was obvious that I was encoutering a smouldering beauty that would take me into her perfumed lair and entice me to try and understand an aesthetic I couldn't possibly put into words. Without exaggeration, I was wondering if it was wafts of pure ferimone or a havana I was smoking. From beginning to end it was worth every medocre cigar I tried in vain to get something as glorious as this..........and I still wonder why anyone could ever not be entranced by this beauty !!!! I'll still enjoy my Hoyo Petit Robustos and Trinidad Reyes or Coloniales but now I have found my nirvana. This is my version of 10/10. I'm going to call up regular cigar shop and order another 5 boxes immediately. - Submitted by bone_jure on May 13, 2007
Review #13: I just finished my box with code BYL JUN05. I can confirm that the cigars in this particular box of PCs are far and away the BEST small Havanas I have ever smoked, and that includes the Tridad Reyes and the Cohiba Siglo I and II. Every single cigar in the box was just a little block buster. Talk about consistancy! Once again, these are a slightly box pressed petit corona with a perfect, cafe latte colored wrapper. The cigars feel properly firm and supple when rolled between the fingers and they have a perfectly executed cap. Every single cigar in the box lit without a hitch and maintained a razor straight burn from start to finish. The ash was the appropriate speckled grey color. The draw and combustion were likewise perfect. Right from the start, the smoke was thick, mouth filling, and decadent. The flavor was very rich with (get this) just a HINT of cedar and just a whole LOAD of nuts, nutmeg, cinimon, and cloves. I wouldn't so much blow the smoke out as just sort of let it escape, then put my nose in it as it rose so I could enjoy it all over again before it disapeared for good. Absolutely PERFECT! The flavor profile falls well on the full side but with smoothness and balance. It is just mind blowing that something this small can be this good. Like most other Cuban cigars, these taste and burn best if you store them on the dry side (65-67% humidity). These are a complete recomend! - Submitted by greg258 on January 31, 2007
