Jose L. Piedra Petit Cetros Review:
A lighter bodied pantela size, smooth and if well rolled, the cigar draws nicely developping earthy, rawer, slightly pungy flavors, a solid, native, more rustic Cuban cigar at a very fair price.

Review #16: I just finished a 5-year-old JLP Petit Cetros that was smooth and flavorful due to the extra aging. It had a wonderful toasty, earthy, twangy taste. The draw was very nice. It began very smooth with medium power. Then a steady build in flavor and power. By the halfway mark the power was very evident but never harsh. The flavor in the last half became less complex. A slight inconsistent burn developed but with gentle puffing and blowing it never needed touching up nor did it get hot. It produced a nice volume of aromatic smoke in the 1st half. Toward the last 3rd and into the nubbin the smoke was heavy with oils but never tarry. These are such a good value I have given it an extra point. One could lay away several boxes for the future and have many wonderful 35-minute smokes for a lot less than the more heralded vitolas. - Submitted by dangit on August 10, 2006
Review #15: Maybe I didn\'t let mine sit in the humi long enough - about a couple of months, but after trying to keep the first 2 or 3 lit I resorted to a draw poker and still wasn\'t impressed with the results. For the beginner looking for a mild inexpensive smoke I would suggest Guantanamera. - Submitted by haban-yes on May 27, 2005
Review #14: Really nice flavour, ubelieavably sweet tasting and very cheap. I have spent much more money on much lesser cigars. They also appear to be consistent in taste unlike some bigger JLP cigars - Submitted by dks on March 12, 2005
Review #13: I tried most of the brands of those cigars but Conservas and Nacionales and after finishing one bundle I run to buy another one. My review is the same as I wrote for Brevas. Those cigars are very good for everyday smoking for a fair price for those who are smart enough not to pay an extra fare for hand made cigars. A pity it only appears in medium draw. - Submitted by David Nakab on February 24, 2005
