Review #72: ---   Tried both the Conservas and Cazadores and would rate them both the same way. Yes, they may not have that refined finished appearance that you would find with the marquee Cuban brands, yes you may get the occasional one that is 'off', but what you get in flavor relative to price, is a great deal. No fancy box, or label and most likely product that was not up to quality standars. I would classify it as a medium in body and flavor, and have noticed, as with all Habanos, much smoother with some age. - Submitted by ihupaliw on November 6, 2009

Review #71: MAY 06 I like to age these cigars in my humidor mixed with its higher rated expensive brothers. The Conserva’s that I smoke are about three years old, and when they sit in my humidor they get oily, shining. A strong cigar, and a different taste than the JLP Petit Cazadores: Cedar. Sweetness. Not a lot of the peppering that I get with the other sizes. A cigar for sitting around, talking with your friends. Cuban tobacco always, even grown on the other side of the island, Arriba, has a remarkable taste compared to cigars from the Dominican Republic or Nicaragua. Have a few, I think you won't be disappointed. - Submitted by Marcel Z on July 25, 2009

Review #70: These are great value for money,a very honest cigar, big bold flavour, and even a hint of sweet creamy aroma, very nice, a very good cigar to have a daily smoke. I have just bought 25, but will see how they go in my humidor. - Submitted by nikmik on May 22, 2009

Review #69: AUG 07 The Jose L. Piedra Conservas were just ok. I was hoping this cigar would be like the Brevas and Cremas, good everyday cigar. Unfortunately that was not the case, with pull problems making it tough to find a reason to continue to smoke them. I have even aged these sticks for a year and still there are some issues… I do like the Jose L. Piedra brand, just unlucky with these cigars. - Submitted by pshamrock on March 1, 2009

- Submitted by cipu on February 26, 2009
