it's a good cigar for the price, although I buy a box of 5 and they are very well constructed with an ok burn, still they taste to young quite sharpness, spicy and woody flavours combined with earth, should be stored at least a half year they certainly get better with ageing. - Submitted by DG on January 19, 2009

Just found this cigar in my local cigar shop - very competitively priced, decent flavour and overall a good smoke for the money. As everyone says, you get what you pay for...my only criticism was the slight crumbling when cutting, on both cigars that I smoked. After smoking several 5-packs of this hearthy stogie, I came to enjoying it a whole lot more. In a recent review of the Conserva, its JLP brother, I said it was better than this one. Well, I had to change my mind. First, the quality has improved: indeed, the new boxes that I bought bear the mention "Totalmente a mano". Even though it's a tripa corta (in fact, a "Cuban sandwich" I think), the construction, the burning characteristics, the huge clouds of smoke and the strong yet sweet taste make it a quality cigar, unbeatable considering its budget price. An end-of-month must for those without deep pockets. Smoking it, you'll bask in the Vuelta Arriba sun. A stick without fuss, but still a damn good puff. Since it is so inexpensive for its overall quality, I give an 8/10. - Submitted by Franz-Eric on October 10, 2008

I found this cigar ok. I would place it between a Guantanamera and Quintero y Hno. Its another poor mans Habanos. Nice color, however burns fairly quick and the taste is mediocre. Overall you get what you pay for! 50% - Submitted by Cuba_Raff on September 9, 2008
